Charles is learning to hold things...

in this process of learning, Charles regularly nails himself in the face with his toy, gets mad, and starts screaming...he will finally calm down only to nail himself in the face again - and then has the nerve to look at us as if we're doing it.

if you look closely, you'll notice a nice layer of soap Dad managed to stick is Charles' right eye....dad was gettin crazy with the wash cloth. But, it's tear-free soap, so no worries!


seriously, this has nothing to do with the soap in the eye. Really. He's fine. He's actually crying because Dad took the soap OUT of his eye...he liked it there. He told me so...

This is Charles celebrating the opening kickoff of his first ever Georgia Tech football game. Although it seems Charles is a bit uninterested, he's actually meditating on the glories of college football and thanking God in prayer for this gift He has given to mankind...
